Part of being a PC gamer means that you are going to find yourself upgrading certain components over the years as you keep up with the demands of the latest games. Many might find themselves neglecting to upgrade for a number of years, which is where Nvidia wants to step in – well in Latin America at least, as this seems to be the only region that is being offered the “PC Gaming Revival Kit”.
What Nvidia has done, is create a kit of parts that would inject new life into the majority of tired PC’s which might not have been upgraded in the last three to four years, and bring them up to date and ready to play current generation titles. The kit is rather simple when it comes to the components being offered, with users getting their hands on an MSi GeForce GTX OC 3GT 1060 graphics cards, Corsair Force Series LE SSD 240G Drive and a Corsair CX450M power supply. On top of that, you will also get a copy of Gears of War 4, and an Nvidia Gamer t-shirt. It is a decent hardware kit that will easily handle the latest games on medium to high settings, although we have to admit that we are not entirely sure who this is aimed at.
Looking at your different types of PC gamers, you are going to have two different camps – gamers who are enthusiasts and build their own PC’s, or gamers who buy pre-built systems as they do not have the knowledge to build their own systems. This then begs the question, that if this is aimed at users who are confident enough to build their own systems, then surely those users are savvy enough to know that you can get the components for around the same price, or if not cheaper. Either way, it’s a good idea to have this “upgrade kit” that comes in one bundle and saves the time of shopping around from different suppliers.
