Samsung have managed to keep their flagship Galaxy S8 smartphone under wraps for quite a while, with most of the “leaks” and rumours being purely speculative. However as we near Mobile World Congress 2017, the grip has had to widen in order to get a presentable model manufactured which open them up to more prying eyes. Fortunately one such set of eyes has captured a few images of the new smartphone, showing the curved front exterior in a high gloss finish. The comes courtesy of a twitter post, although it has since been taken down by. Nonetheless, the images are out there for all to see now.
Taking a closer look at, we can see that Samsung have opted to lose the physical home button under the display, with rumours pointing to a fingerprint scanner located under the screen, enabling the S8 to have a larger display. In terms of hardware, this is still unknown with no official confirmations, however reports are pointing to a Snapdragon processor being the main drive. Whether that is the new Snapdragon 835 processor remains to be seen, however we can keep hoping!
