The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will go down in history as their biggest failure, with a recall of devices cementing the severity of the battery issues which was causing the battery to explode. This also led to numerous rollouts of software updates which slowly crippled devices to a state of none use. Considering that the device went up for pre-order in August of 2016, it was only a few weeks later in September that the South Korean technology giant was preparing to issue a global recall. Well here we are four months later, and after numerous investigations by not only Samsung, but also third party companies, we are only a few days away from learning what the exact cause of the issue was.
Samsung have released a press announcement of a live stream event that is going to take place on January 23rd in Seoul, South Korea at 10am(KST), where not only the cause of the problem, but also the quality enhancement plan is going to be discussed. Following several months of comprehensive investigations, Samsung executives will announce the cause of the Galaxy Note7 incidents and quality enhancement plan during a press conference in Seoul, South Korea, on January 23, 2017 at 10am(KST).
Samsung Electronics, as well as independent expert organizations who conducted their own investigations into various aspects of the Galaxy Note7 incidents, will share their findings. In addition, Samsung will discuss the new measures the company has implemented in response to the incidents.
